-------------------------

In 400 words or less, tell us a story about a person who is finally
living out his or her dream. Show your readers how life has changed
for the dreamer.

-------------------------

Most of us have heard this old adage: Be careful what you wish for,
lest it come true. This saying implies that when a special goal is
achieved, unforeseen consequences will follow. One might wonder why
this old piece of folklore strongly hints at a downside to living the
dream.

Does this prompt bring a story to mind? If so, tell us what might
ensue after someone has reached a high pinnacle of success.

-------------------------

In your critique, decide if you found the scene believable. Did the
plot flow smoothly to a fitting finale? Would you read further?
Please don't rush your evaluation. Gift the author with a careful
review of their syntax and imagery.
